Capafonts bread oven (s.XIII)

A medieval oven of exceptional value

Located in the basement of the town hall, it was part of a bigger complex that stretched to the old plaza, known as the Perxe. The interior retains the original structure, with the same elements, which were used until its closure in 1985. An example of a well-preserved medieval oven, a rarity in Catalonia, of exceptional value and a very important part of the historical heritage of Capafonts.

You can see doing a tour of the old Capafonts, visiting the set historicopaisatgístic for a price of € 2 per person or 1 € visiting only the bread oven.
