Sant Bartomeu Church

Sant Bartomeu Church

Built and agreed by the town in 1750, the church of Sant Bartomeu has a simple baroque façade.

The altarpiece, also baroque, that gilded Pau Montserrat de la Selva was burned in 1936, and only the old image of Sant Bartomeu that presides over the current altar was saved.

Since 1838 contains a good part of the objects of worship withdrawn from Escornalbou.
