The Tosques path

It's a charming path that leaves Vilaplana and rises to the Mussara with many parts of its course tackled with large flat stones. The path of Tosques has been for centuries a major route between the Mussara and Vilaplana and other rural population, and it’s a magnificent example of ancient paths. The first part of the journey is between hazel trees and fields and stone banks, and as we climb, we enter the cool, lush forests, that from time to time, offer beautiful views of Camp de Tarragona and the surrounding mountains from La Mussara to the tip of Barrina, passing through Mount Pelat.

The path of Tosques is a wonderful trip for an old road perfectly preserved. One of the classic hiking mountains.
